Smokey + Miracles: "I'll Try Something New"

My favorite Smokey track. I think Prince should've covered it instead of "La La La Means.."!

Anyone else got any favorite Smokey songs?

Sure you can't deny the power of Smokey & The Miracles, but his 70's solo output was just as rich and soulful. Smokey's legacy with or without the Miracles is so engrossing. music

Yeah he had some good cuts in the 80's, but he lost his touch by then a little bit. But his recent album, Funny How Time Flies should've gotten more notice.

Agreed! "Just to See Her" was too okey-dokey for my taste and it's just 80's fluff. But this is his best ballad of the 80's, hands down:
