Beyonce’s New Album Only 1 Song Away From Completion

bey1 Beyonces New Album Only 1 Song Away From Completion

Beyonce’s legion of dedicated fans won’t have to wait much longer for her new material. Sia, who is probably best known for her work with Christina Aguilera on the songs ‘Bound To You’ and ‘You Lost Me’, has revealed that there is only 1 song left to be chosen for performer’s new album.

Peep what she had to say about the project below:

After gushing about her high hopes for working with Beyoncé, Australian songstress Sia revealed that she told B’s behind-the-scenes team that she wanted to lend a creative hand for the new album. “So I just said to all the producers, writers, everyone, help me make this happen, and then Diplo e-mailed me and said, ‘where are you in the world right now? would you be interested in flying to New York? I’m writing with Beyoncé,’ and I was like, ‘Yesss!’ ” the singer told MTV Australia.

Despite Diplo’s offer, Sia said she was unable to fly out because of schedule conflicts, but is in the process of pitching songs to Beyoncé. When asked if her submissions were for Beyoncé’s forthcoming LP, Sia said, “Well, there’s only one song left for this album, so I probably won’t get on this album, but hopefully the next one. That’s my dream, that’s my goal.” {Source}

After hearing the soulful ballads that Sia created with Aguilera (and the Golden Globe nomination that followed), it might prove to a be wise decision for Beyonce to use her material for the album. In fact, that could be exactly what she needs to bring some artistic depth to her music.

Whatever happened to Solange?

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

B is about to really sell her soul... she wants to be edgy and she keeps pushing it

this time she will go over the edge... why can't these performers just be who they are

Dance... Let me see you dance

Does she mean one song away from the actual actually being COMPLETED or one song away as far as artist SUBMISSIONS for placement on the album? It's kinda hard to believe that Bey's album is done this fast, but then again, she recorded B'Day without a lot of people knowing...

She sings on this one:

It may or may not be an indication of what she's going to do next.

Thats good to hear.

If she made an album full of Chromeo or Dogg Master material, I'll pay attention again.

And? Why should I want to hear that than any other of her unmemorable songs?

She supposedly took a "break" last year lol Apparently, her idea of "taking a break" means recording songs/videos with the high-profile Lady Gaga, releasing a concert DVD and having a Thanksgiving TV special, lol.

Oh well, it was nice while it lasted sad I guess we're about to get bombarded with her and her machine for the next 2 yrs. (at least).

For the record, I think she'll play it safe with her usual collaborators (Sean Garrett, Ne-Yo, Tricky Stewart & The Dream) but try a little something new with new producers here and there. BUT, best believe she got some safeguards (usual dumb shit hits) in place. Mathew wouldn't have it any other way.

I didn't hear all of her last record but from I understand, half of it was entirely too slow and boring. She'll probably try to remedy this.

Bey has been working since August so it's nothing for her to finish an album quickly.

Loads of artists release concert DVDs - it doesn't mean she wasn't on a break from music, the songs with Lady GaGa were recorded for their albums which came out in 2008 and 2009 respectively. She didn't do anything new. WTF is this website's problem with her? If you don't like her, don't pay attnetion to her. For example, I do not like Taylor Swift so I have no idea when her album is out and I don't bitch about her on websites.

It wouldn't be Prince.org if that happened.

I like Beyonce but you have to understand artist overaturation. Her label exhausted the public with her and people would like to see her go away for a little while. If you had to eat pancakes every day for a year, when you want a break from them, you don't want a week off, you want to not see them again until you miss them. Unfortunately, the corporate mentality is that if you are "missed" then someone else is taking your place. For an artist, that can be good. Look at Andre3k. Nobody is seeing him right now. When he's ready to drop a new record, all of his old fans will be checking for him. Beyoncé is still saturated. She needs to chill for a minute so the public can "miss her" and her return would be greater. Everybody loves to see old friends. Its not all that impressive when you saw your "old friend" last week, even if you didn't speak.

I understand that sometimes no matter how great an artist is that sometimes they can be overexposed. Having said that, I have no problem at all with Beyonce. She always brings it.

I'd be happy if she 'chilled' for the next twenty years.

Its like Eddie Murphy said in the 80's why would people want to pay money to come see you in a theatre on the screen when you are doing commercials and magazines and tv shows too? Its not so much that Beyonce is recording alot, because in reality, she isnt, recording alot, and album every year to two is what used to be normal when MUSIC mattered?? Now the issue is being on every magazine every tabloid every fashion runway perfume bottles and clothing lines, thats the issue here, PLUS the media can only handle one artist at a time thats why you dont see very other "rb females" get any time, because lets be real, her music hasnt done antyhing since day one
