Alice In Wonderland Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill! Smokey And The Bandit All That Jazz You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Based on the Beatles 1st appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. They showed the members names and when it got to John, the captions said "Sorry Girls, He's Married". Here when the video gets to Johnny Vulture, it says, "Yes ladies, he's still single". Erykah Badu spoofed Hey Ya! a little on her Honey video. I Love Lucy You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. 'beat it' and 'bad': west side story
'smooth criminal': the band wagon
'billie jean': the little prince
'black or white': 'we're not gonna take it' (technically a music video, but still...)

rhythm nation': CAPTAIN EO!!!

Lies! The entire Rhythm Nation film short is similar to "Blade Runner", and was even shot in some of the same locations. NEXT! "Get up off that grey line"

i responded to this in another post, referring to your comment about 'captain eo'. no, janet did not copy the dance, but was influenced by the style. i haven't seen all of blade runner (and i can't say i was into the portions i saw years ago) so i admit that was not the first thing that came to my mind when thinking of this video.
just because i think it's similar to 'EO' does not mean i am lying. again, we can repsectfully agree to dis-agree.

Hey, in the end it all boils down to a matter of opinion anyway. You should probably have another look at Blade Runner. It's really a good movie. "Get up off that grey line"
