What's with the dance music? I thought he was recording a blues album. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. WOW! go tito! people used to make fun of me, because he was actually my favourite J5 member (michael being my favourite jackson, but i thought tito was the MAN back then!). he was the quiet one (save a few lines); and i liked that.
this song is pretty cool; it's got the whole malaco/southern fish fry blues thing going on, but better. it's nice to see a jackson not riding the coattails of his brother. in the interviews i've seen post 25 june, he appears to be talking the most about his projects; he speaks about his brother, than moves on.
yeah, maybe h's got some traditional blues tracks on the album. i know when he plays live he does that. his voice here is actually good as well- not auto-tuned. | |
