It's quite emotional, I can get why that would make you sad. It's more sentimental than the obvious cherry Four Tops version. Matter of fact, Diana's early material had some emotionally wrought stuff in it.

Probably one of the best songs that she has ever recorded, I love it so much! Ashford and Simpson really knew how to get the bst out of her!
