Many artists have gotten their heads lost in their asses and failed to deliver because of that. She should try her best to steer clear of that road. I'm no Beyonce fan, but Beyonce KILLS Gaga when it comes to vocals. Gaga on her best day could never sing as well as Beyonce does. Beyonce is also a flawless live singer. I've never heard her hit a bad note. Of course she's not as good as Whitney and the rest, but the girl has a great voice.

But yes compared to those others you mentioned, Gaga is a great singer, but in general terms, not at all. Anyone can pretty much sing her songs.

Lady Gaga has one of the most generic voices i've ever heard. There's just nothing special or amazing about it. There's no WOW factor there whatsoever. Any of those American Idol constestants can sing just as well, if not better.

Gaga said she has ONE OF not THE GREATEST voices. Gaga can hold a note. There's plenty of singers who can out-sing her, but she never said she had THE GREATEST VOICE OF ALL TIME.

This is yet another example of how artists cross the thin line between being confident in their abilities and being blatantly arrogant. Although GaGa is certainly a competent performer, singer and songwriter, she has gone far beyond herself in thinking that she is one of the best in the industry.

There are several vocalists in the game today – Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Brandy and Jill Scott – who could easily outsing GaGa on any stage (even on their worst days). Furthermore, given the tendency of her lyrics to be perceived as shallow and sometimes quite confusing, her songwriting skills are hardly poetic – “walk, walk fashion baby. Work it, move that bitch c-razy”.

Sounds to me like not only her initial success has gone to her head but that she might be hitting the cocaine again to get such grandiose opinions of herself so early in the game...

When she said she's one of the greatest - as long as she meant among this newer crop of stars, then that wasn't arrogance so much as accuracy; a lot of these newer artists have little to no actual musical talent.
