but the URL can't be linked. So if it shows up as a link when you type the post, highlight it and click the "unlink" button on the text edit menu (to the left of the text color button)

Then they have people digging through their trash, fans breaking into their homes, paparazzi following them around, stalkers, people bothering them for autographs when they're busy, etc. They also have to be responsible for a lot of other peoples lives like managers, road crew, agents, PR people, lawyers, etc. That's a lot of responsiblity. I remember reading about the 3 Stooges and people would come up to them and hit or punch them without warning like they did each other in their movie shorts.

Celebrity can be a sick thing.

Marvin said when he was in Belgium the first time he felt comfortable because people had no idea who he was and he was cool with that. But after a while word did get around about who he was. Thankfully though he was in an area where he wouldn't be chased.

As for Kim, kudos to her not selling out.

He lived in Moere for a time and his attorney Curtis Shaw said being in Moere was the best thing to happen to Marvin.

I really admire her. I'm sure as a human being sometimes she may have regrets especially during moments financially times were hard, but she does look like she's at peace with herself and doing the songs she loves.

BEP are the definition of "sellout". They have the least musical integrity of any pop artist on the market and I certainly have the least amount of respect for them. You never see some artists "sell out" because much of the time it starts from the beginning of their careers and its not until some old band member uploads an old demo do you find out what time it really was with them. With BEP, they had two records out already, a cult following and an established style and sound before they did a complete 180 and morphed into what they are now - fluff with zero substance. Kim added an element that made them just a bit more special and they lost that when they lost her.

The second you rely on titilation to sell your music (Fergie looking like a runaway stripper), you lose. They have DEVOLVED musically and Will.I.Ain't needs to be shot in the mouth and his head put on a pole as a warning to all.

Okay, maybe not all of that but it definitely shows that there is a pathway into pop stardom and it involves losing yourself. Very few people get to keep their integrity AND become commercially successful. The more successful you become, the more you will be asked to do that goes against who you are and what you sound like.

I have to agree with you on that. I have total respect for Kim because of her sticking to who she is as an artist.
