NKOTB Member Jonathan Knight Outed By Former Teen Queen

We all let things slip from time to time. But it looks like 80s singer Tiffany let one pretty major detail slip from her lips that New Kids On The Block fans missed out on: outing teen sensation and NKOTB member Jonathan Knight as gay. (He's also the older brother and former band mate of the still crushworthy Jordan Knight.)

According to Popeater, Tiffany appeared on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live with teen queen Debbie Gibson to talk about their roles in an upcoming movie. And, when asked by host Andy Cohen if she'd gotten close with any of the members of NKOTB, she said Jonathan Knight.

And that's when she dropped the bomb. "He's fabulous. But he became gay later," she said.

At first she blamed herself, according to the stories we've read. But realized after the fact that it wasn't her fault and that he was tons of fun to hang out with since they seem to share some common interests.

"I had issues with that. I was thinking maybe I did. Now looking back when we were dating, he was so much fun. We used to do facials together. He was so easy to talk to."

We'll admit, as NKOTB fans this is definitely a bummer (Didn't we all love The Right Stuff?) But, it definitely sounded more like a relationship between friends—or girlfriends—than a love match.

On the upside, it looks like Jonathan's not too busted up about the situation, nor is he mad at Tiffany, following her apology on Twitter on Friday, according to NY Daily News. If anything, his tweets are more concerned about not remembering facials.

And, he even tells her not to worry about it, recognizing it was no biggie: "Tiff, please don't lose any sleep over it! I know you weren't being mean and I found it to be funny!"

Well, that's good. But is it true?! We're not sure. (Even if he's never denied it, despite speculations in the past. But we don't really care, either. Sure it's kind of a bummer for those of us that may have had crushes on that Knight brother during our tween years. But if he's happy? Then it's all good. Even former boybander Lance Bass found his happy ending after he came out of the closet.

Besides, we still have NKOTB memories to tide us over if we ever need a fix...

They were both in the group originally, but Mark quit. Mark said he didn't like singing as the reason why he left. I think he was replaced with Joe, who was younger than the others. Donnie didn't leave the group, so I couldn't have been talking about him.

Marky Mark was in an early version of the group but left because he didn't like the direction they were going with their music.

actually it was just one kid they just used creative means to make it seem like it was more.

This isn't even news, really. He was initially outed almost 2 years ago when some tabloid rag posted pics of him kissing his boyfriend in a hot tub somewhere on Fire Island.

And I think Jonathan was like "well duh of course I am lol" somewhere. I just don't think he makes his sexuality a big deal.

I thought he was always gay. Never knew him to be straight. Meh...there were only two relevant members of that group anyway; Joey McIntyre and Jordan Knight. The others were just backup singers and poor ones at that.
