He co-writes most of his stuff and even then the singles I have heard have been safe and bordering on pleasant, inoffensive pop/MOR. His stuff is nice enough, but I would never called him an "exceptionally talanted song writer". Though "you're beautiful" is a good pop song. Shame they played it to death at the time.

"James Blunt jams" is already ridiculous as anything can be. Did they really have to add the "with Prince" part to the rumour?

Never got why people hate James Blunt so much. When he wasn't popular and "You're Beautiful" was barely heard everyone all in his favor. But the minute it blew up and a comedian makesfun of it, It's now the bane of everyone existence. It's kinda like auto-tune. Auto-tune has been used for years now and no one had a problem with it but the moment Jay-Z makes a song against it everyone change their tune. He even had artists who used auto-tune doing raps and singing about how they're not using auto-tune. It's like follow the freaking leader. Does anyone think for themselves anymore?

In the U.S.? Not many have EVER thought 4 themsleves............especially after that lil invention called television.

All I can remember about the song/video is in the video when James basically stripped off the shirts he was wearing and then jumping...to his...death...I guess. Really if it hadn't been for him nearly getting buck naked I wouldn't have known about this guy lol

LOL, just stating a fact. I couldn't really care less about pop singers writing their own songs, but alot of pop singers only co-write. I love Michael Bolton, but I admit he knew who to write songs with and who to produce them with. James Blunt has a similar talent, as does Madonna, Janet Jackson etc....
