For real. I was expecting Vesta to be singing a jazz tune or something but damn

this is a nice uptempo groove. Shit if she can put out a whole album with fresh

sounding grooves like this and her usual ballads, i would be very interested in

this project.

Shit! I started listening to the song and immediately opened another tab for Amazon.com to buy it. I had to replay the video to check out Vesta.

I had some doubts about her vocal ability after her last CD of covers a few years back. However, this new song leaves no doubt that this broad still has some serious pipes! I can't wait for the entire CD to drop.

Aight now...this is a beautiful song but the arrangement and production are horrible. I could never listen to this and enjoy it.

The problem isnt the production, or WHY are Rihanna and others pushed more, the problem is why is everything so NARROW when it comes to the musical genres, its so sad that a chart today cant be like an 80;s chart when your age didnt matter, Aretha and the RollingStones could be competitive with Debbie Gibson and Whitney Houston and Springsteen and Richard Marx and Gnroses could chart on a normal chart.

She's still fine too. Unfortunately, there is ageism in the music industry and this song will receive zero airplay.

If she were with a label that had the power to get her on urban adult radio, I believe she would receive some support there. However, since she's with an Indie label that I've never heard of, I don't expect neither the single nor the album to be successful. I'm sure both she and the label are not expecting this to move outside of her core fanbase. I'm just happy to get some new music from someone who can SANG! My only hope for listenable music this year was via all of the 80's reissues that are being released so Vesta is really giving me something to look forward to.

I doubt she's seeking commercial success at this point. She seems satisfied where she's at. And more power to her.
