I know many people hate on P!nk in this org (I don't know why since IMHO is one of the most honest and talented young artists out there...), but anyways...

Yeah I don't get the hate for P!nk around here either. She's very talented. Anyway it seems we're having a lot of "luv urself" songs lately With Katy Perry's "Firework", now this one by P!nk and the upcoming "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga. I'm sure I'll like P!nk's the best It's good though-kids need these types of songs these days with all the bullying and stuff going on

...And here's where my age comes into play when it comes to the damn F-word. Such a great song lyrically and an even better message yet, I wouldn't share it with my young neice who will be entering her teen years in a matter of time. I do believe that when it comes to language, I have become more conservative even though that of course was the way I spoke during my teen years...I'm sure there's an edited radio version. Hmmm, now I start to sound like Prince and yet I get dissapointed when he changes lyrics to his earlier songs. Damned if I do and damned if I don't...

i totally get that. I love Cee Lo's 'Forget You' over the 'Fuck You' version, just seems to flow better for some reason.

And Pink? Decent live act, bit of longevity going on now, Got a couple of albums myself. I think she's alright.

Pink is pretty talented, she has good lyrics and that punk attitude i dig her. She's always been way cooler then Britney, Katy Perry, GaGa & the others

Agreed. I think Gaga has a very generic voice. I'm not impressed with her voice at all, it's decent but that's it.

Pink's voice is better and much more unique and interesting.

I'm listening to the song right now (I'll see the video when I log on later on today lol) and it's beautiful. Definitely makes up for "Raise Your Glass'" first listens. And it's definitely a powerful message. Great lyrics too.

Very US mellow drama based video ..... real people living life like this don't get happy endings..

Pink may end up regretting this video , I see trouble ahead...

And so far i think Katy Perry would match her in vocals and song writing give it a couple of years..

I think Pink has a great voice. But her music and videos are too formulaic. It's the same angry girl pop/rock stuff. She criticizes stupid pop stars who do the same thing over and over, but she really isn't any better. She has a formula too.

Important message. Nice song. She can actually sing which I dig and her "tough girl" persona is actually her own persona and not manufactured by her record label. She's alright in my book.

Good point. I think the "tough girl" image turns off ALOT of people -- thinking its fake, and many more who still aren't comfortable with a woman in that role. But I think that's who Pink was from day one.

Not sure why she continues to release the fluffiest track as the lead single?? But maybe that's a marketing move or whatever. Dig a little deeper and you'll find a talented lyricist with one of the best rock voices out there. Sorry but Gaga and Katy don't come close. At all.

i think the the word fuck like a lot of other cursing words are very necessary...there are some things/feelings that u can only truly express with those...and in the end of the day they're only words. I used 2 hate Pink, til someone gave me her dvd of her 2007 (or *) tour..I'm not dead tour...then I kinda became a fan. luv this song!
