Teddy Riley on Blackstreet Reunion

Teddy Riley confirmed that himself & the group's 3 best singers will be the lineup from now on and they don't plan to stop. Teddy Riley said he's happy with this lineup and promised fans this is the final 4. The good news is Teddy made up with Mark & Eric now. Plus they aren't gay Teddy said that cause of hurt feelings and it was their decision to tour as their own group which made Teddy upset but they are cool again.

Teddy Riley, Dave Hollister, Mark Middleton, & Eric Williams are preparing for a big tour throughout the US & overseas first show will be Feb. 14 with Silk, 112, Mario Winans, Allure, & Ben Saunders in Amsterdam so get ready. I'm excited for this can't wait to here a combination of Dave, Mark, & Eric.

I talked with Chauncey and I wish he was still there but he made the decision to work on his individual project and claimed he owns the name. He knows the rest of the group are back without him. He wished them the best but said he wants to do his own thing.

With Teddy on the board & the vocals by Dave, Mark, & Eric this album is guaranteed to be a classic. I feel Chauncey is gonna miss out.

Check out Teddy's interview here:

how many more "reuinons" are they gonna do?? lol And at this point, does anyone really care? Every other year,it seems that there is a story about a "Guy reunion" or a "Blackstreet reunion",lol.

This is the only one they doin it's a reunion cause Dave Hollister is back. Blackstreet really never broke up but Dave is back with the group so it counts as a reunion between Teddy Riley & Dave Hollister.

People still care about Guy & Blackstreet cause they make great music. Blackstreet can always come back cause they are the truth all this stuff about who's better Guy or Blackstreet is irrelavent cause they are both great groups.

The last time they released an album Level II timing wasn't right and no promotion now it's time for it to happen. Come on you know you can't wait to see it with Dave Hollister on the same album as Mark Middleton & Eric Williams. Dave & Eric made a great team on Babymomma Drama now they are in the group together. Wish Chauncey was there I talked to their bass player & he said Blackstreet doin it big man they shuttin it down.

They have started on the album it's just that Chauncey decided to go solo & they got Mark & Eric back so they are recording new songs with the lineup of Teddy Dave Mark & Eric. They did start on the album last year but songs with Chauncey's vocals aren't going to be used now. The album is coming this year. It was confirmed by both Teddy Riley & Dave Hollister so Teddy's not just bringing this out of left field.

You was right about the Guy situation. Teddy for some reason works better with Blackstreet. Aaron Hall & Damion Hall are working on a Hall Brothers project cause Teddy decided it's only Blackstreet he will focus on. Also you will hear Blackstreet's version of Heaven Can Wait real soon.

Everything between Teddy & his daughters are good now they made up and still live with him & his new fiance.

Yeah there'll never be a new Guy album.

Yeah that case or whole ordeal is settled. Teddy is also writing songs for his daughters own group RaidR and trying to help them find a great record label. 3 of his 4 daughters Deja, Taja, & Tiarra (Bobbie) are a group they do Pop/R&B trying to follow in their dad's footsteps.

There will be a Guy album just without Teddy Riley. Aaron & Damion Hall will also make an appearance at the BET Honors airing February 21 on BET without Teddy Riley. I saw pics of the Hall Brothers on the red carpet taking pics and pics with others like Ne-Yo etc. They will also appear on Way Back When I believe on TV-One. They trying to get more exposure other than in videos and on tour. Teddy claimed in the interview above he was able to take Blackstreet to new heights that he never got to with Guy.

That case has been settled. They decided to apologize to their father for their actions rather than try to take him to court cause at the end of the day he is still their father. They said they went to family therapy hugged it out and made up.

If this were true then Joseph Stonestreet would be in the lineup. smile Whatever happened to him, and how many people have been in Blackstreet now? These guys are like the Temptations, only the Temptations were great.

brick It can't be Guy without T.R. Yep, yep!

Personally, I don't need a new Guy album. I wear the hell out of those two albums (and "Dancin'" from the third one). What we really need is a 2-disc remix collection. The special edition of Guy was a good start, but I want it all!

Blackstreet are great too stop hating every song on their first two albums are great. Their last two had some misshaps but they were okay.

It's not Teddy's fault sometimes. Joseph Stonestreet is good with Teddy but he still smokes weed and their was a interview where he was smoking saying he would like to work with Teddy again but he left cause Teddy had to many rules regarding smoking and drinking so Dave Hollister replaced him.

Chauncey chose to leave & do his own thing & bring real R&B to Australia he's only touring over there but he's doing Blackstreet songs live by himself. I mean he could have stayed with the others for that.

I'm sorry to tell you but Blackstreet is a bit better than Guy just cause they came out first doesn't make them better who besides Aaron Hall was a top notch vocalist. Damion can sing but he's not a powerhouse. Timmy Gatling wasn't that great he was ok. He's a great writer & producer along with Teddy. With Blackstreet Teddy perfected what he started with Guy and made it better.

It will be a Hall Brothers album and they will keep it that way let's put it that way and neither they or Blackstreet is done. The vocalists Dave Hollister, Mark Middleton, & Eric Williams still got it. Too bad Joseph Stonestreet, Chauncey Black or Levi Little will not be involved

I can respect that opinion but usually when folks say that it's to hate on Blackstreet cause they mad Teddy formed another group and left Guy.

I saw him this pass July in Cincinnatti. He did a duet with Teena Marie. He lives in Cincy.
