KT is actually a two-hits wonder in the USA. Her debut single Black Horse And A Cherry Tree was the 1st hit. I remember seeing the video a lot during the overnight hours on VH-1 & CMT. And don't even get me started concerning how often I heard this song at Starbucks! disbelief lol

Even today, KT still has potential to do great thing musically. But she will have it difficult in the USA while the Beyonce/Rihanna/Gaga era is ongoing.

Yeah, both of those songs were pretty big.

My favorite came at the end of '09:

7 Worlds Collide - Hazel Black

I got her new album and it's outstanding. She's not a "hits" performer, she's more of an "album" performer, but credit shows like Grey's Anatomy (e.g.) for bringing attention to some of her other songs.
