I am a huge Stevie fan and I must say that this is THE best documentary I've seen on him by far. So much is happening in this one: him being on the road (the Hotter Than July '80 tour), preparing the Dr. Martin Luther King tribute song Happy Birthday and helping make his birthday a national holiday. I was also stunned by his powerful reaction to John Lennon's assassination. WOW! Thank you NMuzakNSoul and please tell your father that I thank him so much also!

Stevie is HILARIOUS....and did u see how the background singers where totally flirting with Stevie...he was like macking fo real!

Thank you, thank you. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the doc. Hotter Than July was his last gasp before the release of scattershot albums.

Am I the only one that found it a little strange when that one lady was petting Stevie's braids? Shucks, if I was Stevie meeting those kinds of fans might freak me out a little bit.

I would too but I heard Stevie loved it when people touched his braids like that.
