Anyone pick up this set? I made sure to get it today. I think the first disc flows better without the Shep Pettibone Mix of 'Hard Day', and the extended version that does show up on Disc 2 is incredibly funky. Fantastic versions of 'I Believe When I Fall in Love' and 'Love's in Need of Love Today' as well. The Jam & Lewis mix of Monkey is great, too. The instrumentals seem a little bit unnecessary, however.

In all, it's a great set, with a great interview in the liner notes with George himself. I'm yet to watch the DVD, but when I get around to it, I'm sure it matches the quality of the set.

What really strikes me is how much George was undoubtedly influenced by Prince at this time. He even says this in the booklet, although interesting to hear he doesn't like Part 1 of 'I Want Your Sex' anymore. It really is a fantastic album, and the remastering job sounds pretty good, as well.

George Michael fans, this is a must buy!

I ordered the "deluxe" edition, but not the box set. I will keep my eyes open for one on ebay. I refuse to pay $140 for it.

I don't know if the box set will be in stores. I don't see it listed on any retailers sites.
