You know what at first I thought this guy was the epitome of Coonery, but I've actually heard him speak on other topics and he is really articulate I think he actually does a good job on the show it's just borderline Coonery but he seems to be a good actor-he knows when to quit
I have never really heard him speak during an interview, and only watched him on the show briefly... but my thought was.... this man is an ACTOR and if the part was written to show "coonery" or bafoonery, don't blame the actors...

so very true-I think Tyler Perry needs to revamp his character, but maybe he wants him to play a bafoon? Really kinda sad.

I dont know why anyone would assume that any actor is going to act like their character on a show...really? How come when black people are doing out of character comedy it is shown to be coonery to black people? Is it just that the image of blackface not long gone?

Seeing as P.E is my all time fav rap group. It's hard for to talk smack on a lot of the members... besides Flav

And Griff's own convictions come off as darned-near bipolar: First he makes the statement, for example, about Jews being "responsible for the majority of the wickedness in the world." Then he disowns the statement -- multiple times. Then he expresses an absurd outrage that others would disown the statement by distancing themselves professionally from it. Dude is crazy.
