In February he will appear at the Pre-Grammy MusiCares Tribute to Barbara Streisand on the 11th. Grammy night on the 13th, he is nominated for 5 awards.

Last year, Jeff Beck's career high was achieved as he did a world tour in support of his first studio album in 7 years - EMOTION & COMMOTION. Accompanied by Walde, Rebello and Ms. Smith - they started out with trinute to Les Paul at the Grammys on January 31st, 2010 and from there did a mini-tour with Eric Clapton in London, NYC, Toronto and Montreal. Then did a year long tour from March to December that covered Korea, Hong Kong, Australia, Japan, the USA, Europe and South America.

On the 13th of January, Jeff appeared in a cancer benefit concert in London at the Hammersmith Apollo on a bill with The Who, Bryan Adams, Debbie Harry and Richard Ashcroft (of The Verve). Beck played guitar on two tunes with Harry and did a blues song with The Who's Roger Daltrey. He did 3 songs from his repertoire backed by Ringo's son on drums, Zak Starkey, basisist Pino Palladino and Simon Townshend on second guitar, plus hs own keyboardist - Jason Rebello, Beck's set was "Beck's Bolero", "Hammerhead" (the Grammy nominated tune for this year) and the Grammy winning cover of The Beatles' "A Day In The Life". He later came on for the finale and jammed with The Who, Adams and Harry on The Who's "Join Toger With The Band". It may have been the first time Beck and Pete Townshend (guitarist for The Who) have played together.

Sure you right. Until he left CBS after 2006, he was their longest running act in their history, from The Yardbirds through his solo career (1965 till 2006).
