Bruno Mars, B.o.B. and Janelle Monae Added To Grammys Line-Up

Bruno Mars, B.o.B. and Janelle Monae have been added to this year's line-up of Grammy performers, an inside source tells Rolling Stone exclusively. They will join previously announced acts Eminem, Lady Gaga, Arcade Fire, Miranda Lambert, Katy Perry and Cee Lo Green at the February 13th ceremony, which will be broadcast live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Indie Artists Score Major...ominations

Eminem leads this year's Grammy pack with 10 nominations, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Rap Song. Lady Gaga has six nominations, while Cee Lo and Katy Perry have two apiece.

The big question this year, however, is whether or not Britney Spears will be added to the line-up of performers: Her new single "Hold It Against Me" just debuted at Number One on the Billboard Hot 100.

So stoked to see Janelle Monae added to the line-up... Good job recording academy!! Also I'm not huge on his studio work but I've liked what I've heard when Bruno Mars performs live!

I don't respect the Grammys. At least this year, there's a chance of being mildly entertained while listening to the corporate-bought "awards" doled out by what's left of the record labels.

Agreed.....it's kind of disrespectful to ADD ..... Janelle, BoB and Bruno as they are really the only new talent breaking in the US ans Globally in 2010

Glad to hear that. Bruno came out swinging in 2010, and his music does have a lot of MJ influence to be honest. Also good to hear that Janelle Monae is getting the attention she deserves. Her music and creativity with it, goes a long way, and much better than the same old crap you hear today. Both are talented artists.

I hope they don't do those duets again this year (old act with a new act). The ones last year were just HORRIBLE.

I'm excited to see some of these acts. I hope they don't overlook the Country acts.

Bruno Mars is very MJ influnced but you can feel his soul when he sings and he seems like a music purist but the more sucess he gets i fear that corporate music will give him material that is below his leve

i will try to be optomisitc but i am glad some legit talent is being nominated

I'll be checking out for Bruno Mars and I hope they add P!nk to the line-up eventually.
