Kanye West Announces New Album In Summer 2011 (AllHipHop News) Kanye West has proclaimed that he will be releasing a new album in the summer of 2011.
The rapper made the declaration on Twitter saying, “WATCH THE THRONE COMING IN 2 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!! MY NEW ALBUM COMING THIS SUMMER. ALL THE LIGHTS VIDEO IN 1 WEEK!!!!!!”
"All The Lights" is a single from West's highly touted album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
The rapper didn’t indicate when during the summer the untitled opus would be released nor did he state if or when a finished video for “Monster” would emerge.
An incomplete version of “Monster” hit the internet a few week ago, which lead many thing believe a polished version would come.
He concluded and all-caps rant affirming, “THIS IS HIGH END RAP MUSIC.”
No representative for Def Jam/Roc-A-Fella has confirmed this new album at press time.

I like it when an artist comes out with a new album every year. That's how many great artists did it for years. |

Agreed. In my opinon, Jay Z is way past his prime and talks about the same mess in all of his albums post-The Black Album to try to be relevant. And didn't Kanye say that the Watch the Throne release was supposed to come out a couple of weeks after MBDTF? I don't know about a new album from Kanye right now, but if this is true, more props to him. Def Jam is getting his stuff out pretty quickly. By the way, MBDTF was just certified platinum, which is another good thing. Check me out and add me on:

Yes it did I don’t think kanye has to worry about sales too much and the single H.A.M is just not doing it for me. |

You know what, you're absolutely right. I like the way he structured the release of MBDTF by releasing the G.O.O.D tracks first and then serving up the album. He hasn't really been promoting it as much and did about two videos. I don't even think he talked much about it except before and during the release. So, I give Kanye respect for that, but I am just not interested in that Watch the Throne release. Sounds wack... Check me out and add me on:

I know Kanye's and Jay-Z's solo efforts will be way better than watch the throne. |

Kanye's yes...but Jay, ehhh! This Watch the Throne thing just sounds like another cash-in, to solidfy both of their release records. Alot of people liked H.A.M, but it was just wack to me. Collaborative efforts are just not meant to be and this is one of them. Check me out and add me on:

I like Jay-Z but his last great album was the black album , American Gangster wasn’t bad either. I prefer Kanye overall though. |

I've learned not to trust Kanye's announcements about due dates for his albums because they are never released during the time he claims they will be out. |

One is the regular one and the other is the deluxe version (which is dope). He is supposed to have the remastered re-release out by now or by this Spring, since the one that's out now has horrible mixing and clipping noise. He said something about it on his twitter page. It's also suppose to have a couple of new songs on it as well. That's probably the "brand new album" he's talking about! Check me out and add me on:
