Yes, yes, I love this album. When you are a pissed off thirteen year old Alice In Chains are about the greatest band ever. Some of my friends think they are too dark and depressing but isn't that the whole point? "Down In A Hole" is my favourite from the Dirt album but the whole thing is a real corker.

I was a little disappointed by the coverage that followed after Layne passed. I believe Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes passed around the same time and the media made a pretty big deal about it while very little was said about Layne. I guess it was probably the least shocking rock star death ever and we were all kind of expecting it but it seemed like he didn't get much respect. It's quite sad how he spent the last several years of his life.
