OK. Got it and just listened.
Overall, crisp production, good instrumentals (especially the intro and vamp at the end of "I Wanna Be Your Lover"), so so vocals. As far as Corinne's rearragements go, I wouldn't call them "bad" (although I think her take on "Is This Love?" is downright blasphemous), but they so obviously pale in comparison to the originals. Perhaps the most interesting moment is the live cover of Sly and the Family Stone's reworking of Doris Day's "Que Sera Sera." Corinne captures all of Sly's soulfulness, but adds a gospel flavor by slowing it down, playing up some organ and hand-clapping embellishments and exploiting a call-and-response interplay with her male co-lead vocalist. Good stuff -- it just lasts a wee bit too long at 13:27.
3 out of 5 stars, IMHO. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου
