Saw Betty Wright on the MONIQUE Show recently and she did teh damn thing with her live version of "Clean Up Woman". On the same show was Freddie Jackson, Jody Watley and Chuck Brown (of 'Go-Go' music fame).

Jackson seemed very intent to prove he is a lady - he was sweeter than molasses on a plate with biscuits. Watley, no comment; and Brown, well didn't know he was in his Seventies.

Miss Wright tore it up. I saw her last in 1996, and she was great on a bill with Deniece Williams and Millie Jackson in Atlanta.
