I loved this group but I had no idea at the time they were British. I have to say back in the 80s the British released some pretty good R&B music.

Seriously though, the main force (dude) was the original Rafael Saddiq, changing co-leads like toilet paper. He also gets credit for creating the whole SoulIISoul sound before they did too.
