But I'm a bit disappointed that she's not dancing much.
Just remember--this is just the beginning of the tour. She may add more dancing later on...but even if she doesn't, I won't be disappointed--this will be my first...and second time seeing her perform live!

i feel like crying... i just can't wait to see janet... seriously i been having dreams about going to her concert... i had one last night and two weeks ago... only janet and Michael have been able to get me acting this crazy...
I knew this concert was going to be so amazing and she looks amazing i love the hair... her body is just sick.. and the costumes on point... im soo happy... i just can't contain it...

i do wish she would stop using gils choreography cause it doesn't translate well on stage...
she can definitly dance just as great as she did in her younger years...

Agree with that assessment. Also, I'm listening to the Velvet Rope LP again...and it is soo--oo-o
good its making my toes curl! (With the exception of the Rod Stewart song which doesn't belong IMO ). Janet PUH-LEASE work with Jimmy & Terri again! Those guys worked as a smooth team with Janet, understood her, and made the best use of her talents to create some AMAZING songs with her. They made her shine in a spectacular way that no one else could. Get back with Jimmy & Terri!

Maybe if she got rid of those damn high-heeled platform shoes (as good as they look) she could dance more...I notice the dancers are all wearing flats...

You could be right about that. But let's see what happens in the next few shows... If she doesn't step up her game (literally!), does that mean that you won't attend her concert? Just curious...

Never mind the '90s--in the '80s she would dance and do back flips in high heeled boots and pumps! I'm convinced she could still go hard on stage in high heels.

Yeah, But Her AMA 2009 performance is better than the Essence/American Idol/Manila Performance.
And that Was Just a Year ago! If she paces back and forth on the "IF" performance, like she's doing now...

^^ i notice lots of her fans are kinda upset she's don't exacty have the upbeat dance energy as they said on twitter, i remember on vmas 2009 with the scream routine everyone was like the old janet coming back but you know she's gettting older

To be honest, her AMA performance was just as half-assed
Btw, she did the full If routine at Essence so maybe she did it in Manila but who knows...
