"Night Court", "Golden Girls", "Family Nest", "227", "Amen" - my favorite Saturday lineup. Least I think the last two were seen on Saturdays. But yeah my childhood right there for about four years stayed watching this great stuff on Saturday lol
I was like 10 or 12 then but yeah those were nice times Loved some Golden Girls too

Too bad the really funny sitcoms have become a thing of the past like ^^^ above! The last two sitcoms that I found to have funny writing were "King of Queens" and "Everybody Loves Raymond." Too bad the funny Black sitcoms died before that--the last funny Black sitcoms I liked were: "The Parkers," "Girlfriends," and "The Game." Haven't seen a damn funny thing since all these went off the air...

Tell me about it. You can still catch "The Game" on BET though.

Yeah, but I saw multiple reruns of that before it went off the air--too recent. I have a friend who has all the DVDs of Sanford & Son, The Jeffersons, All In The Family, Good Times, What's Happening, etc. I go over there all the time to look at classic comedy! P.S. Don't own a TV!

YES! Loved that one, too! Who can forget characters like "the slow turtle man?"

I watched all those as well, including "Mama's Family". I know I'm not the only one who watched that show.....

Yup! Had to watch Mama's Family...after all, it was a spin-off from the Carol Burnett Show!
