As mentioned, the full version is on Bob James' "Touchdown" album, one of my favorites. All of Bob James albums are just as smooth and mellow. Love Bob James.

The theme from "Taxi" is my favorite TV theme of all time, along with M*A*S*H* and "The Odd Couple". All are great imo.

Love the "Odd Couple's" theme song, swangin' jazz at it's best. I purchased the album bout' twenty years ago and ironically, they don't have "the" song the used in the TV sitcom.

i think it was 1984 they got cancelled after the 1983 season, they were on two networks, they were on 1978-1982 on cbs then from 1982-83 on nbc
