AMAZING COLLAB.
THIS IS ONE OF THOSE GREAT SONGS THAT I DON'T MIND PLAYING OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

I think this was the transition and sound Mariah was looking for when she wanted to push away from the diva ballads. This collaboration was done nicely. I absolutely love this song and the video! This is when her sexy image worked for her. still remember the 1st time I heard that track, I literally went over the way she sings the "well I guess I'm trying to be" bit. It was so new to her, the fast singing that is.
then there was the video with the ridiculously gorgeous look in blue (with the gigantic butterfly in the background).. I could fam out forever here so I'll just stop "what's that book where they're all behind the wardrobe?"

I do love Mariah's version but Bone Thugs version is my shit! Everytime I hear hers, I have to go and listen to theirs.
I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

love this song, video, her look, everything, it was innovative for mariah and ahead of her time, though it also reminds me very much of Bone Thugs Crossroads
But it seems like a lot of songs in the 00's patterned themselves after this track too, including Mariah with We Belong Together and similar sounding songs to follow, and Rihanna's We Ride.
