I'm in love with JC Chasez' voice

Its sad he never had a successful solo career. He certainly has the talent.

I had a HUGE crush on him back in nsync's heyday. He is an amazing singer, much better than PunkAssBitch, aka Justin Timberlake.

His career didn't take off due to lack of promo. Punkass and JC were both on JIVe and released cds around the same time. Guess who got the most hype?

They [Jive, Johnny Wright] put a lot of effort with Justin's solo debut (they even had a whole MTV special 'Album Launch' that details the whole process) and none whatsoever with JC's. Justin had big name producers (The Neptunes, Timbaland) and artists (Brian McKnight) to work with and 'help' him along.

And the singles they released from JC's album were awful and not radio friendly with its sexual content ("all day long I dream about sex?" Damn I know you're a freak and all but who thought this was a good idea to release as a single?). Especially since it was not long after the Syperbowl incident. He doesn't need uptempo tracks that drown out his voice, he needs an album that showcases his voice.

JC worked with Dallas Austin and ODB and Basement Jaxx and BT. Those are some pretty nice names, too.

IMO, JC is just not a good songwriter. Somewhere along the way, he got designs to write songs for NSYNC and they entertained the idea. However, a songwriter he is not.

That's right-JC is a songwriter, was writing for other acts while in Nsync, including Wild Orchid, Stacey Ferguson's old group.

JC is like the Kelly Rowland of Nsync. He'll always be in Justin's shadow regardless of anything.

Come on, you know that's not very close. The Neptunes were at the height of their popularity in 2002, the Clipse already had a real popular song out at the time, Timbaland giving him left over Ginuwine beats, etc.

JC was always the best singer in 'N sync, I guess he just lacked that "it" quality that Justin had, but he's a very good vocalist. Love JC.

They all looked pretty damn ugly when they first came out, to be honest. LOL Chris with those black and white box braids, Lance with the bleached hair, Justin with those yellow noodles, JC with the frankenstien hair cut, Joey with the all red hair. It wasn't until the 'Bye Bye Bye' video came out that they all started to look good.

Ya, but the point is that JC never got radio friendly tracks and the ones he did were corny as shit, IMO. "Blowin Me Up With Her Love"? Okay that is passable, but the ADIDAS one is just stupid. That and JC's entire image just turned into some weird White boy tryna look like Prince. The hair and everything was total Prince. And that kind of derivativeness doesn't always pay off...

I am wondering if JC is JGay?! And/or if he was perceived to be Gay?!

I am thinking there could have been some homophobia involved with regard to fully financially and philosophically supporting his work. "How far can he really go? Will Americans buy his records?" "Why throw good money after bad?"

Yes, I am in the "wow, JC is soooo good looking, and he sounds so much better than Justin" - line. But at the same time I do think that Justin has his own thing going on and the comparison thing really does come down to apples and oranges with them two. Justin certainly knows how to strike when the iron is hot, if nothing else, and I think he represents himself well when performing live.

And Joey is thick, and fine as hell ... with a pretty smile and a good head of hair. ("How come you don't call Me?")

Latoya Jackson sings like an angel.

I don't understand the above post. He was in a boyband, so yeah, he was perceived as gay.

If you're a man in hollywood, you're automatically gay. That's it. Especially if you're good looking lol I can't think of any male celeb that hasn't been accused of being gay at least once. Anyway, I don't think he is gay.

Joey is cute in a different kind of way.

That's funny. I assume that everyone that I meet is in a boyband until they assert otherwise.

JC was good but I prefer him with the group he wrote a couple of Nsync songs too, he was actually suppose to blow up but Justin had that extra I’m a Justin fan don’t care lol. I loved some Nsync back in the day. Can’t really blame it all on Justin though JC could have did well he just didn’t have good promotion and maybe not the drive.

Yes, it is true that there are a lot of assumptions, but certain people get a pass in the face of some pretty obvious faggotry. George Michael sold millions of albums endowed with this cultural lie grace.

Anyway, I think that there is a really good chance that JC is actually gay.

Joey is gay in a different kind of way.

Shit! I forgot about the song with Blaque. A lot of black stations would play that cut without JC's vocals.
