The first thread I started about Cody Chesnutt was before I had his double CD and before I saw him perform live. I got the CD (finally) last Thursday and saw him Friday night. If you're looking for new music to get into, I higly recommend him. Although I must say, the album does no justice to what he's capable of live (and some of the tracks are real throwaways). Check out some of the music on his website www.codychesnutt.com and the new Roots video being released for their album is a remake of a song ("The Seed") from his LP. Good stuff. Just thought I'd share.
