El Debarge tour Prince seems to be staying put in New York for the time being, but other artists are on the move! El Debarge just announced a big tour. I think he's hitting about 25 cities in the next couple of months! Wow, busy guy!
While I wait for Prince to head west, I will definitely be keeping myself occupied by making it to a couple of El's shows. I saw him perform last fall and he was excellent. I can't believe he's still got that voice after all he's been through!

It's probably a good thing for El to be busy. Maybe it will keep him out of trouble. He seems like he's doing really well right now.
I'm definitely going to the Chicago show. Can't wait!

Just wish he was gonna be out West... Maybe he'll make it later in the year. That's a helluva relentless tour schedule... Hope he gets some down time. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

My friend is a big Kem fan. On a few of those dates, El is opening for Kem on his "Intimacy" Tour.
I'm confused, though, because 2/24 is listed on the Theater at MSG site for Kem w/special guest El Debarge, but on another site with him playing at NJPAC on the same night....

There are some discrepancies. I'm not sure what's going on either. According to this itinerary, he'll be in Maryland on 3/20, but I thought he was supposed to be in Miami for the Jazz in the Gardens festival?

My friend wants to see Kem, but I just noticed that and thought I'd share in case someone was planning on seeing him at either venue.
