Don ' t care . I ' m asking again because there were not that many answers . You don ' t have to answer if you don ' t want . Instead of leaving dumb answers like you did .

Well, just for grins...I DID go & look. I didn't find any pictures either.

BUT....we do know they played together (the session for Street Songs with Stevie on harmonica).

And as was noted in the Oct thread....Stevie did play a musical tribute at Rick's funeral.....here's a bit more on that...

Before singing the gospel song, ``I Won't Complain,'' Wonder told the assembled crowd, ``As much as we want Rick with us today in the physical, God wanted him more.''

Also, this lil factoid from Rick's book........

According to Rick, "When I got to New York, I ran into Stevie Wonder's brother Calvin. He had just come down from the South where Stevie had a bad car accident. Calvin pulled him out of a burning car in the nick of time. He was shook up so I gave him a bunch of coke to calm him down and we talked about old times."

Rick was also said to have met Teena Marie while she sat in Stevie's office @ Motown.

Just seems "likely" they "knew each other" in some meaningful capacity. Still, seems odd that NOBODY ever snapped a pic of them together. Might exist someplace....hasn't been put up online that I can see though.

The comment from Rick to Stevie is at about 1:26. The joke revolves around the context/setting they are in, and that Rick would crack it there, not so much about the actual content. The delivery was lacking a little bit. But, yeah most of the major acts on Motown were at least friendly, if not more, throughout Motown's first and second generations. If they weren't playing softball together and cutting records, they might have been playin the 9s and cutting lines. I don't think that Rick was the first person who wanted to yell at Stevie in a studio, may have been the first to actually do it though.

Great job kjw709, standing your ground and staying true to yourself, remaining sweet without being particularly offensive. I am inspired move forward following your lead.
