Average White Band (any thoughts?)

They were definitely more than average. I'm just going to start with one song that has been playing constantly in my mind for a few days "A Love of Your Own." Don't you be afraid to give your heart, never know til you try it. Don't deny it to yourself." Feel free to discuss their entire catalog. They had some funk going on, plus they were a diverse international funk band. I saw them a couple of years ago at a free show, and I think there were only one or two original members left, nevertheless, they didn't disappoint.
"Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!
"It's just my imagination, once again running away with me."

Fantastic live ... go see them if they tour in a town near you! A Love Of Your Own is one of my favourites.

wrong Name because this Band was tight.as Raspberry pointed out " A love of my own" was a Cut."School Boy Crush" was a jam as well as "Pick up the pieces","Cut the Cake".when a Act is bringing the Flavor you forget all about any Novelty.they made a Helluva Impression on My Ears.tight Grooves.
