If he's the same person at MJJC under that name, then he posted there recently.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

He's also at the OkPlayer forums where him and Murph get into their endless MJ v. Prince debates.

He's a BIG R. Kelly and Michael Jackson fan and he used to get into it with a lot of people in other boards for his opinions. When I was on MJJF/MJJC he was on there all the time in the non-MJ music section.

A lot of people don't like him but I like him. He was here before my time so I heard of his reputation but I Ifirst encountered him over on the Rick James website when it was in existence. The two of us agree on a lot of things and we also disagree on a lot of things also but he has always been respectful to me and I have been respectful to him also.

I think a lot of people misunderstand him. From what I've seen, he just wants to state his opinion and be respected. Yeah, he's bold and so am I. I think that's what we share in common. I think I know how to express my boldness and get my point across better than he can in a way that's more humorous that puts people's minds at ease that I don't really have anything personal against them but I WILL call it like I see it and ain't scared to tell it whether they disagree or not. I think he's the same way but just doesn't quite know how to express it without pissing people off. I just think he's very misunderstood by a lot of people. I've seen from the Rick James website that he has a passion for music and is going to tell it like it is, which is a trait that I love. What he sees in R Kelly, I will never understand.....lol ....but I know we've had a lot in common musically and the two of us have always respected each other over there. He even sent me a very nice private message (rickjames.com's version of an "orgnote") right after my mother passed so I know that he's either a member over here also or watching this site because I had not been frequenting the Rick James site during that time. I just happened to pop over there months later.

Deep down, I think he's a good guy. He just doesn't know how to express himself in a way that people understand he ain't so bad.

Respectfully, that can be said for a lot of people (...who aren't necessarily a joy to be around).

Me too.

Some folks love to talk shit about him being an R.Kelly enthusiast. The man has a vast knowledge in music, books and movies, I really enjoyed his posts.

When I first started posting, he, DavidEye(resurrected as SoulAlive smile), Brother915(remember him ya'll?), Namepeace, Paligap, Finess, blackguitaristz and youngone were the people I really kept a close look at, and god knows they added a lot of flavor & class in this place.

I only remember his awful style of typing and him calling me some vile names just because I said I prfer Freddie Mercury to James Brown as a frontman.

The R Kelly love was scary.

nod

I find it hilarious how me not being a Kells fan (although this new album has me intrigued) and him being aa huge fan, he and I are good friends and have NEVER gotten into an argument

Unfortunately, he refuses to post here anymore, but I'll let him know ya'll were thinking of him

I still read his posts on okayplayer lurking

It can be irksome when he puts R. Kelly on some god-like pedestal and bad-talk Prince in the same breath, but his opinions are formed on the music, not personal business. This is hard to do on prince.org so you can imagine why he stopped posting.

He certainly knows about other artists.

I love how impassioned he got over Marvin's music, especially the '70s material.
