It seems to be surviving out here but I didn't see the Christmas sales reports.
Yep so far HMV here is ok in
It was founded in London England though. I feel a bit uncomfortable when I hear the business isn't working in its home country. |

When it comes to shipping online w/ Amazon.com in the US, anything that is $25 or more, the shipping is free...I'm not sure how it works overseas though.
it's similar in other areas too, but the shipping price is still passed to the customer via the sales price. you don't get nothing for nothing. when the price of goods is calculated it considers that the customer is going to spend X, otherwise they request an additional payment to cover the shipping or persuade the customer to spend more money to cover the shipping costs |

Yeah, that figures. That saying is true then...you get nothing for free. Same thing w/ those reward credit cards. |

Its a shame , after work i used to browse the new releases etc on Mondays in the Oxford St branch, many an hour spent there, Fopps in Charing X Rd seems to have cheaper prices, why cant HMV have the same offers and prices?I think it is part of the same company also.
I dont think people "love" music as much these days, its background noise for a lot of people to have on their i sheep. |

Yes, when Fopp ran into trouble a while back, HMV took over Fopp and retained 10 stores nationwide.
I wonder what will happen to those stores?
