Chris Brown launched into a profanity-laced Twitter feud for several hours today with former B2K member De’Mario Thornton — a.k.a. Raz-B — in which both Brown and Thornton employed homophobic slurs and taunts. The exchange began after Thornton tweeted, using the Twitter handles for, respectively, Eric Benet, Brown, Halle Berry, and Rihanna, “I’m just sittin here Thinking how can n—-s like @ebenet & @ChrisBrown disrespect women as Intelligent as @HalleBerry11 [and] @Rihanna.” Brown quickly tweeted in response, “@razb2k, n—- you want attention! Grow up n—-!!! D— in da booty a– lil boy,” and followed up with several tweets taunting Thornton over his accusations that he w...roup mates. (One example: “Tell me this @razb2k!! Why when the money was coming in u won’t complaining about getting butplugged! #homothug!!!”) Thornton replied by accusing Brown of being on the down-low (i.e. in the closet): “Ur not homophobic, ur juz homosexual on the low!”

By the end, both Brown and Thornton had apologized for using homophobic slurs and appeared to have moved on to tweet another day. It was all a masterful display of debate at its finest.

Soooo....the agenda in this situation is blatantly clear: This RazB dude is trying to get Rihanna's attention by picking a fight with and setting up Chris Brown. Chris is a total idiot for responding with the particular words he chose to use (which is so not unusual considering his inhibited mentality ), but at the same time I can understand his reaction. RazB's intention was to be slick, at the expense of someone he should have left alone. And what do we see at the end? RazB recoiling 'cause he couldn't handle his own derisive medicine. The only problem now is, Chris Brown will be seen as the villian, while he was only defending himself, albeit nesciently. Mission accomplished RazB.

I would have thought that it might, by the way the title of this thread categorized their exchange as a "homophobic Twitter feud". But as I interpret this excerpt of their feud as posted here, it doesn't feel to me so much like it rises to the level of true homophobia (which would indeed be damaging to his career) as much as it just sounds like two little boys taunting each other with stupid slurs on a school yard level (which certainly doesn't help his career).

I wouldn't put "sucking dick" past either of these two if they thought it might sell some records.

RazB played his hand quite well if you ask me. It's obvious that CB is a hot head and any mention of his domestic violence toward RiRi is bound to set him off. I don't think he's every liked Raz anyway. Raz has a tendency to talk random shit about random people, perhaps in an attempt to stay somehwat relevant. I feel sorry for him (Raz) cuz he's just making himself look crazy and people will be less likely to take hims seriously if he ever makes a musical comeback.

I don't think either of these guys are stupid so much as immature. They've been in the game since their early teens (still childhood) and they've not learned the valuable lessons of being an entertainer:

1) You can't trust everyone...hardly anyone

2) Whatever you do or say becomes part of your legacy
