Their debut album for Capitol records is my favorite among their catalog. Don't laugh at my funk

'Joy And Pain' is my favorite Maze album, followed closely by the 'Live In New Orleans' album. | |

Believe it or not Soul i have Joy and Pain on 8 track. My deceased grandfather(still have one living) used to have an 8 track player and in the 80's he was still hip to r&b even in his 60's. I got the Maze 8 track from him. He was a huge Gap Band fan and his favorite was Oops Upside Your Head. He also had the Gap Band IV on 8 track and he used to wear it out. I have Joy and Pain and Mother's Finest Mother Factor on 8 track. All i need is the player. Don't laugh at my funk

I sometimes go on ebay looking for one of those portable 8-track players that were so popular in 1975/76
