The woman had a voice....but that's about it. Missy Elliot promoted all her tracks. honestly, after "need u bad" she lost steam, and while there were other good songs on her album, it's not like she was packing stadiums or anything. out of respect for her fans though, i'd rather that she make this statement officially, instead of on a frivolous website like twitter.

There's so much pressure to follow a formula rather than allowing an artist to express their own vision. I think a big problem is that a lot of her material isn't really her style. She has a good voice but I don't think her heart is in the way she is being packaged.

Jazmine needs 2 decide what she is going 2 do with her talent. So far, she has recorded about 4 cd's worth of material and NOT a single song matches the talent level of her vocal ability. She is singing 3rd rate material and it's a damn shame because the woman has true talent.

She needs much better writers and producers.

I dislike her voice. Her new album isn't selling worth a shit.

I'm happy to see I'm not the only one who doesn't think she can sing. Her voice is so annoying. She has a few good songs though.

I haven't really been a fan of any of her music. Especially that song I called "the zoo" about the lions, tigers and bears. Her voice annoys me...maybe I'm just going to have to be in the minority on this one.

I don't care for her voice either or her music. I tried to give her music a chance, but just couldn't get into it.

But either way I wish Jazmine the best and hope she's successful in whatever she decides to do.

I don't. So I'm going to chalk it up to the kid knowing what's best for her own self-preservation at this point in time.
