With the ability to edit posts selectively and at will (as they do on the various STAN-Sticky-Jerk-Off threads every day)......why this troll wasn't simply snipped outta the posts & banned is beyond me.

MODS: You were all MIA as this major event went down & unfolded here on the Org (Teena's Death). At my last recollection, that RIP thread had HUNDREDS of heartfelt & salient replys and over 30,000 looks. Whacking the entire thread over ANY Mod enforceable dust-up...is seemingly an incomprehisibly horrid act (esp given the subject matter of the thread).

Editorial oversight on this board is usually even-handed, reasonable & understandable.....I think you guys usually do a great job. But I'm sorry. This one is inexcusable, IMO.

Out of respect for our members & this community... I respectfully sugest that one of you (June, Luv or Anxiety) PUBLICLY sound off on what happened to a thread that prolific & concerning one of the most significant losses in many of our music-loving lifetimes. If it was some simple mistake..I think we could forgive that. Barring that, an explanation is in order...just to make this fiasco at least comprehensible.

WTF??? I requested a sticky as well. I come back to find a message that the mod was reviewing my request for a sticky and when I clicked on new replies in my que, it said the thread was deleted.

This is a mess. There were some great pictures and video in the "Teena Marie RIP" thread and some very lovely sentiments about her. I think it's unfair that the thread was deleted. It's been eight days since Lady T passed, there's so much still to be discussed.

Right now, there are multiple Teena Marie threads floating around.

Wouldn't it just make sense to make one thread dedicated to her instead and make it a sticky? I don't get why that's too much to ask .

Seems like no mod right now is willing to do it. Is it too much work? This ain't like IRL stuff. This is a message board. Someone's gonna force their hand eventually, watch.
