Check this 1971 instrumental version from Buddy Miles and look who posted it- the Audience!

By the way, the engineering/mixing on this cut still stands as one of the most bad ass of all times.

Turn the speakers way up or put on the headphones and marvel at what Jack Adams did with this tune.

Buddy takes writing credit on the album but of course he didn't although I think he could claim some major arranging credit.

I love how seamlessly the players of the various instruments pass the solos around.

Yeah, this is an all time killer jazz/funk joint, alright. If ya'll ain't ever heard it you're in for a treat.
