i'm sorry, but reading the blow by blow accounts that have been coming out of the prelim, i believe it ultimately was intentional. initially, murray gave him the propofol, and although he wasn't paying attention to mj, he didn't think or intend for mj to go into distress. HOWEVER, once it was clear that mj was in distress, he *intentionally* waiting 20 minutes before he decided to have the security guard call 911. he *intentionally* lied to the emts upon their arrival, and the doctors as well. he *intended* to get back into the house to discard the evidence, but the security wouldn't let him. none of those acts are unintentional.

I get where you are coming from but I think the situation went like this.

Dr Murray had been putting MJ to "sleep" with propofol on and off for some time. It probably became the routine "last resort" for MJ to get some rest and as such sadly Dr Murray became lax in his care.

That morning he probably went about his business as he had done time and time before stepping out now and then and thinking nothing of it because nothing had gone wrong in the past. Then upon discovering MJ in distress/dead he panicked - plain and simple. "Oh $h!t - what's happened...." and then he probably frantically tried to revive MJ then call for help, then cover up the mess. Then he went into survival mode by not telling the emts what drugs he had administered etc.

All of these acts are negligent but I don't think he intentionally discovered MJ was dead and then thought "hey i'll just chill for 20 minutes then get some help". It's clear by his actions that once the scene was beyond his control he went about protecting his own ass.

But sadly by that stage all was too late. And it's the acts that lead to the death of Michael that ultimately Murray will be convicted on. His actions post MJ's death - the delayed 911 call, the withholding of information etc all are signs of his personality and his own guilt.

have you been listening to prelim testimony at all? because that's basically what he did. on the 911 call, alvarez the security guard is heard to say that 20 min. had elapsed before murray had him call, and he testified in that entire time murray never administered any type of consistent life saving methods to keep mj alive. he sporadically beat on mj's chest with one hand, and during mouth to mouth, only breathed into mj's mouth twice. the phone records show that he was talking to his mistress who overheard murray talking to mj who was coughing, and likely in distress, but instead of calling 911 immediately, murray started immediately to cover his ass - as mj lay dying.

on another board there are several links to blogs from those inside the courtroom reporting on the testimony. one blogger reported on the number of lawyers discussing the case who are placing bets on the charges being refiled to murder 2.

Just to be accurate - the girlfriend of murray said she heard coughing and talking - she didn't say she heard Michael coughing.

And Kibbles I'm not arguing with you that Murray was negligent - that is beyond reproach - I'm just saying that the legal system will look at his actions leading up to the death - and those actions aren't intentional - he didn't set out to kill him thus the charges being involuntary manslaughter.

All the talk of concerts had me thinking back to seeing MJ live here in Australia

BAD - I saw the BAD tour in 87 - a truly phenomenal show.

Dangerous - Was first in line for tickets for Dangerous and on the morning they were due to go on sale the shows and tour were cancelled.

History Tour - Melbourne x2 Sydney x 2 plus GHOST premier in Sydney

THIS IS IT - Tickets for 2 shows for Feb 10 - the tour that never was.

Great shows - great energy and I'm glad I got to see those shows first hand.

As much as I was sad about losing him period and so sad for his family, I could not bear the thought of him being cut off from me forever, cause I NEVER got a chance to see him at a all and I was going to go for 2 London shows in September 2009 and I was sooo sure all these years my wish would come true. I feel like I got everything I wanted in life accomplished and I saw all the celebs I really like, but the one thing I wished for the most soooooo badly was taken from us and though I know it sounds selfish, I could not handle it and realized what a spoiled brat I was, feeling like the rug was pulled from under me, and I reacted really badly, blaming different people everyday for my desire being crushed. Obviously I had other issues that were making me act this way, but when your life has been chaotic for years and you got high off seeing him someday and that being taken away, it's very hard but I've finally adjusted.

Michael was not some idiot, to let some good for nothing Doctor pump him up with propofol. He has been surrounded by enough sharks and got used to dealing it with handling himself around those sorts of people ever since 1993 and 2005 allegations popped up.

When you gonna see Stevie and Sade? Love them. I've seen Stevie three times now. Lucky huh.

I haven't purchased tickets yet, but they're on my list. Sade is performing next summer, but I have no one to go with me. No one is willing to pay good seat $ to see her.

I am also going to see Sade this year. I don´t have the ticket yet, but I am definately going.

Yep. Right after MJ bought The Beatles catalog, the two song he decided to record his own versions of, were "Come Together" and "Strawberry Fields Forever", but the latter remains unreleased. Hopefully it comes out one day.

Yeah, the atmosphere was great. But I was really so far from the stage. All I could see was this little gold thing moving somewhere on the stage. lol But I saw him in front of the hotel before the show, but only for a few seconds. I´ll never forget his scared eyes.

I don´t know. He just looked scared. I guess because there were still too many fans and not so many bodyguards.

LOL I wish a pic was released of this. I've seen footage where there's an insane crowd of fans and he always had this nonchalant look like "I got this"
