Seeing all those people on the ground level always made me wonder....how did they use the bathroom?
I know Wembley Stadium has restrooms so the people with sets in the stands probably benefited but the people on the ground level had it the worse
It brings back memories of the cocnert in Amsterdam.
Honestly. when I went to the concert I didn't even go to the restroom at all too excited. (I was only like 12) Now that I look back, it was a great night and I'm happy I did get to see two of my musical heroes in concert in my lifetime (Stevie and Michael) all that's left is Prince. I wanna see him too.
You're so lucky. I never got to see Michael in concert He didn't perform in the US for the History tour and I couldn't afford to see him at Madison Sq. Garden during the 30th anniversary show. I was hoping the TII tour would extend to other international cities, perhaps in the US.
I am happy that I saw Prince in concert last week in NY. Next is Stevie and Sade.

No, I'm surprised there are stills of the video, but not the video itself. I'm sure the full video is out there somewhere just like the deposition in Mexico.

I´d love to see it. He's so hot in it.

bboy - it's very possible I was at that show. I saw the HIStory tour at Wembley, but there were 3 dates and I don't remember which one it was. I'm gonna watch that footage right now! Thanks!
Where did you sit? In the stands or on the floor?

I was in the stands. I was only 10 at the time and went with my dad and sister. I'll never forget how amazing it was, the vibe at an MJ concert is just on another level....... I wish I knew what happened to the merchandise I bought. I definitely had the stub, the tourbook and a few posters, but I have literally no idea where any of that stuff is any more.
I was at the first Wembley Stadium show (the Saturday 12th July one - I still have the tickets of course). We were stood in the front few rows of the standing section and we just didn't go to the bathroom. We were stood at the turnstyles all day and went back and forth to the toilets outside, but once inside we just made sure not to drink too much. It was hot and sweaty but it was truly a planned out mission not to lose our places at the front.
I was glad I bought my tickets through the fanclub at the time as it seemed the turnstyle we were assigned to enter through opened before all of the other ones, so our race to the front was really easy.

I still got one of my ticket stubs from July 14th i think #2,022. Not bad considering half a million people saw him at Wembley stadium in total. I put it in my Special Edition of BAD (behind the clear plastic where the CD resides) I still have the tourbook and 2 T-shirts too (one never worn). I also kept a Pepsi-cup with MJ's silhouette on it, that's a bit knackered cos i kept pens in it for a couple of years.
Same for Dangerous and History, i kept everything.
I never got a HIStory tour t-shirt. Back then they never catered for women so all the shirts were only ever good for sleeping in unless you were a big fat man. I still have the record bag, a door flag, the ticket stubs and the can of Mystery drink that I bought a bit later when Rock Circus were stocking it.
I was 15 at the time and my mum and step-dad drove me and my friends there early in the morning to line up right away. Then they just tagged along after and stood at the back while we were by the stage. I'll never forget MJ's legs hanging directing above my head as he was on the cherry picker for Beat It. It was more of a memorable experience for the whole day than just the concert. Some of the weirdos we met in the crowd were hard to forget.

Some of you fans are lucky, having a chance to go to his concerts. I have never had the opportunity. At times, I regret it.

I'm lucky i got to go to the BAD tour, back then all my immediate family were massive fans. I'm sure the fact my Mum & Dad wanted to go so much meant i got to go to Wembley too. I paid my own way to Leeds though, that was great. We sang Happy Birthday to Mike on his 30th which is a happy memory, he seemed so embarrassed.

I consider myself very lucky especially since I'm much younger than most people who had a chance to see him live. But I've been a fan since I was literally just 2 years old, so...

I was kicking my mother in the womb when 'ABC' was playing. So she told me. I win.

I'm sorry you didn't get to see Michael in person. It's definitely an event. I would've went to the Bad Tour In Rotterdam but I was too little...My uncle did go and said it was great.
When you gonna see Stevie and Sade? Love them. I've seen Stevie three times now. Lucky huh.

Does ANYONE have the clip from The Jacksons cartoon where "Maybe Tomorrow" played? The visuals were just beautiful to me (I know it's weird) But I cant find it on Youtube anymore

Ugh!!! I'm so jealous. How do you know he was embarassed? Was he hiding his face with his hand and giggling?

I haven't purchased tickets yet, but they're on my list. Sade is performing next summer, but I have no one to go with me. No one is willing to pay good seat $ to see her.
