Ummm.....have you seen the shit that some acts on TUG have done? lol

Immature was walking around with PERMS for a good part of 1994-97. THAT shit was unexcusable lol

TUG is Chris Stokes' record label. Immature, Gyrl, Monteco, B2K, Jhene, Mila J were all signed on the label

BUT they had more acts signed than actual releases lol Some had one single and that was it. Jhene's album was supposed to come out when I was in 8th grade, I was in 12th grade and it STILL hadn't come out lol

The only good act on TUG was B2K, IMX used to stay piggy backing them during those days. And Jhene was Lil Fizz cousin right? I remember they were saying Marques Houston and Omarion were brothers I fell for that shit. It was a lot of lies in that group especially their ages. lol

nod lol Though I always had disdain for ANYONE associated with Stokes, I had a feeling that Houston/Omarion sibling story was a lie lol

Loved some Immature back in the day. No reason other than sheer mismanagent for Omarion and Marques to not have better careers.

Their careers would've fizzled anyway. They ain't singing much of nothing. And they dance too much like Michael/Bobby Brown clones.

disbelief just pathetic. Why can't they both just go away? lol and Chris Brown wants people to start thinking he's a changed man blah blah then he goes and acts all ignorant like this again. Nothing to say about Raz B lol

ISF

If Raz-B was actually raped I have great sympathy for him, and Chris Brown's comments towards him are very wrong.

How do we know if he was though? I guess we won't, it's not a matter for the public to decide, which is why I don't like these things exposed so publicaly.

OK, if he was struggling to deal with it, fair enough, he didn't want to tell anyone at first, it was hard for him I'm sure. However, why come out with it SO publicaly now he has lost his fame? Of course with celebrities/has-beens these things may come out anyway, but he went out his way to let everybody know.
I can think of two reasons:
1. Publicity for himself, perhaps with the aim of some sort of career revival.
2. He wants to raise awareness about male-male sexual abuse.

Chris Brown ironically ruined Omarion's solo chances, lol. Just when "O" started to blow up around 2005, Chris popped up out of nowhere and took over the teen scene. Omarion hasn't been right since.

Honestly, I'd be lying if I said I didn't like Immature's music and you're right, Omarion and Marques' careers have been mismanaged, especially that "Marques and Omarion are brothers" schtick neutral

Is it just me or does anyone else find Chris Stokes record label title "TUG" both suspicious and somewhat confessing.

Kinda lol I think I'm getting where you're getting at. Nonetheless I always thought it was a corny name for a label. It don't stand out like Motown or Stax or Philly International. lol

This is the only track I've ever really liked from TUG, or whatever the label is called:

I'm not sure if this one was produced by TUG (I don't think it was), but I loved this song and video when it was released:

love @ the choreography at 0:42-0:52.
