HAPPYPERSON

Janet did well with her tours over the years (a janet stan shared this with me so don't shoot if it not accurate lol)

Janet Jackson tour grosses:

Rhythm Nation 1814 World Tour: $45million
Janet World Tour: $62million
The Velvet Rope World Tour: $73million
All For You World Tour: $55million
Rock Witchu Tour: $10million

= $245million career total

No! It's not! Obviously there are also people going to both shows! And arenas usually still seat around 16k or more!

err An Arena or Stadium Can fit up to 12k people to though? Take the Singapore Stadium Janet will be performing in for instance.

Yes! Sure it can, but then there are still 8k missing...

Staples Center 20k
Izod Center 20k
Madison Square Garden 20k
TD Garden 20k
MGM Grand Garden Arena 17k
General Motors Place 19k
Oracle Arena 19k
Palace of Auburn Hills 23k

and so on... and we'd have the same thing we had on the last tour! Half empty arenas!

no no no! Not every arena she played during the RWU tour was half-empty. I was at the Verizon Center in DC when she played there and that place was packed. She could definately still fill arenas in major cities if she chose to play in arenas.

I was there too and there were many empty seats... but not as many empty seats as at the IZOD center or MSG.

Maybe some of the nosebleeds were empty, but from where I was sitting (1st tier on left side of the areana) that place looked packed. I even took photos.

By the way, wasn't there a "Discuss everything Janet Jackson" thread? Where did it go?

Actually, I just checked JanetJackson.com and Ticketmaster and both sites only show two shows for New York City, Chicago, LA, and SF.

Don't say that.... neutral I hope it's more than what she did in 2008 and a heck of a lot more than what she did in Essence. She should really deliver because this tour has been hyped up. The energy has to be there!

I think it's gonna be similar to her essence show. Possibly a continuation. To be honest, I wouldn't expect any drastic changes. Janet tends to like rehashing many things.

Anyway, she's still breaking records

Janet is the fastest selling single artist performance ticket this year. The show has sold out multiple nights in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Chicago, Washington D.C. and Atlantic City as well as single nights in Atlanta and Santa Barbara (Janet now ranks as one of the fastest sold out shows in the 25 year History of the Santa Barbara Bowl)

I'm not to sure, but based on the prices here in the U.S. I dont think I'll be able to make it.

I would've been going to the DC show. Only 30 minutes from my area. UGH disbelief
