"It's You That I Need" by Enchantment
Continuing on with the sexy slow jams, it's Enchantment and "It's You That I Need".
Give it up honey.

That ending where they break it down... I live for that moment especially when E.J. Johnson takes over the lead. Then it's over!

OMG I love that part.
E.J. was the falsetto's king supreme.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Also, whats his name, Jesse Cowell or Jesse Powell covered it and name it the Enchantment suite(given that he segued that song after "Gloria"). Nice rendition too.

I've heard Gloria, but didn't know he remade this song too. He's done several covers. He sang a duet with one of his sisters (Donny & Roberta's Where Is The Love). He even did one with his mother, a One Way song called Something In The Past. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. I lose it every time I hear the words "Somethin' happens to me".

That was Jesse Campbell and Trina Barnett. Jesse Powell and Trina Powell didn't sing on the song.

Oh sorry, my friend had the cassette single for that back then and said it was the siblings. There was no picture of the singers and I think the song was from a soundtrack. I know Jesse's sisters had a group called Trina & Tamara, but I don't remember what they sang. I wasn't listening to the radio then. They sang "My Love is the Shhh" with Something for the People, a one-hit wonder from 1997.
