hello, im a 15 year old boy, im white so i have "white people hair" lol, its just regular straight hair, however i want a prince hair cut EXTREMLY bad, i will show you photos of the one i want, could some one please tell me how i could do this, would i need to grow my hair out, or do i need to get fake hair (like african americans do, ) i want this so bad, but have no idea how to go about getting this style,

please help. the photos arent showing up, but the hairstyle is the big curly one, simular to the one on the hits cd covers.

hi, im sorry but this is not a joke, im new to prince.org and this is my first post so im sorry for it being on the wrong forum, i didnt know, but no its not a joke, but what do i tell the hairdresser. like im just clueless on how to go about getting it done,

Bring a picture of Prince, from the CD cover of your choice, to a qualified hairdresser and tell him or her "This is what I want my hair to look like". If they can't do it, TRUST: There's a hairdresser out there that can, no matter what kind of hair you have. It's what they do.

Depending on where you live, dm3857, you should expect a couple odd looks. I'm guessing that most places in the world, a 15-year-old white guy wanting Prince hair circa 1992 is... unusual. But darn it if you're gonna pay good money for it, YOU are the boss... and that hairstyle can be done!

If your hair is very straight, they may have to perm it before cutting. That'll crank the price up a bit. If your hair holds some natural wave or curl, they may be able to simply cut it, and you could retain the look with the correct hair products. They'll tell you all that needs to be done.

Either way, yeah, just take the photo in and say, "I want this." You'll find someone who can do it.

I've had a hairstyle similar to that but without the fingerwaves on the side. Don't perm your hair because the curls will be too small. Use a big curling iron to curl it and lots of spray on the roots to give it lift and height. Spray the hell out of it, then gently brush though the top part of it. Don't brush through those roots though because you don't want it to fall flat. Then curl it with the curling iron some more to shape it and spray the hell out of it some more. Just remember though, the first time you wash it, it is gone and your hair will be back straight and flat again.

My hair was similar to this when I renewed my driver's license back in 1993. I had to get them to reprint my driver's license because they had a "B" typed where the race was.

Good thing you had them correct it, Lord only knows what might have happened if the cops had ever pulled you over, lol.

yes, i know ill get some odd looks, haha but atleast ill be turning heads, lol. i think it would look good, im pretty tan and im a fairly skinny peson (5'9 149pounds) so yeh i think it would be awsome, hah.

and im not sure what the styles called, one of you called it a typhoon but im not sure if thats it or not. could you provide a picture of this "typhoone" style

and i live in a very small town,but its really close to new orleans

so ill probably get it done somewhere in new orleans.
