I remember this show

I was in Detroit during the summer of '81 and I watched this show alot.I recall hearing The Time's debut single "Get It Up" for the very first time,on this show

Although I loved both shows, I always preferred The New Dance Show over The Scene.

Auntie Betty, Geezel Henry, Pam Thomas, JB, Lawanda, Salt Shaker, Fast Freddie. Man, they really had some characters on those shows.

Yeah those Nu-Mark and Watts commercials had me rolling.

I do remember The Scene use to watch it all the time That silver backdrop was so cheap, but back then nobody cared Use to watch it after school
