been listening a lot to that "I Go Wild" album by Jak.

my fav track from that album has to be "You only you"..

I've tried to write down the lyrics, but at some points my

english just ain't good enough to hear out what he says..

anyone got the lyrics? the LP (inner sleeve)? hope you

guys can help me out. thank you.

Well.....pulled my copy & there are no liner notes....so no help there.

The lyrics aren't on the album.

It's hard to decipher some of his lyrics due to the falsetto style he sings with.

I guess I could try to come up with some lyrics.

The Wizard of Oz references are a bit odd, but I am confident that I have most of the lyrics correct

(I don't know what I was thinking in my previous post, Jak doesn't sing in falsetto on this track)

Some of those lyrics look like the product of "Engrish" translation. I don't know if the label or a random japanese person handled this, but it would explain some of it.

Or

They could be completely correct, the "wizard" line does seem a bit odd.

I really enjoyed the wizard line I think the lyrics are kinda translated.. and it doesn't sound

like "prison" to me, more like wizard, which matches with the line "just like the story of the man

of oz" cus I don't hear no magazine in there ("oz" also rhymes with "because" ) - I used both (thanks again to both of you) and wrote it down like that:

I have both I Go Wild instrumentals: The special remix and the original. (Oddly enough, the "normal" version isn't on the album, The special remix is.

I saw you wrote that the special mix is on the album, I

have an LP Rip whose track is running circa 5:40, then

there is the 7" version that's circa 3:30 and the special

remixed version that runs 6 mins.. Now that the "normal"

version ain't on the album, and now that it is different from

the 7" version, where is it on then?

I have also downloaded the LP (after I purchased the album, I couldn't find it online back then) and noticed that too, so it led to my confusion when the special remix 12inch arrived and it was the same song that was on the album (A bit of a disappointment, but I was happy about the instrumental).

The 12inch single of I Go Wild is the version without the elaborate intro and the repeated 'I go wild' chant throughout the verse. The label claims that the song was taken from the album but they aren't the same.

I don't know if the record company made a mistake when pressing the LP and added the special remix or if I just happen to have a rare copy (which i'm doubting, the special remix seems fit for an introduction.) It seems strange that the original track was only used as promotion.

The 7inch single is an edited mix of the 'normal' version+instrumental.
