Just to let Chaka fans know, she is performing at the SF Warfeld on January 14th! Locked good seats in--can't wait to go!

Sorry! I just found out about this last minute by listening to a soul station today! I am so excited to see her I can't tell you! Hopefully, she will make her way to a club near you. You can't come to Cali to see Chaka? I just went all the way across the country in December to see Prince! It was worth every cent! Plus I got to see NYC for the first time--what a thrill!

You can't come to Cali to see Chaka? I just went all the way across the country in December to see Prince! It was worth every cent! Plus I got to see NYC for the first time--what a thrill!

I saw Prince a few weeks too in NY (since I obviously live here), but I can't go cross-country! I wish I had that kind of money!

Well, I don't really have that kind of money! But I locked in some cheap plane tix and hotel rates--plus I missed out on my nephews wedding this summer because I didn't lock in discount tix, so I had a couple of extra bucks. But, since I decided not to go to the Paisley Park performance last October (yes, I joined the defunct Lotusflower site ) I said I wouldn't pass up the next chance. Glad I didn't.
