Nirvana - Beans (weird but funny and intriguing early record)

If it doesn't make sense, that's the intention. lol

Apparently Kurt Cobain and Krist Novoselic did this at Krist's mama's house when Nirvana was just getting started (1987) and apparently Kurt is singing on helium or found a way to sing that way, I don't know.

I just want to put this in the "WTF" column, I know y'all will but I've been listening to this wild shit over and over again.

I'm weird. lol

His daughter's middle name is also Bean. shrug

Have you ever listened to the Montage Of Heck? It's from his early home demos. Completely random and bizarre tape collage stuff. Definitely to be filed in the "wtf?!" column. I'm surprised it's still up on YouTube as it's FILLED with unlicensed samples (including the Beatles and Led Zepplin). But I guess somebody would have to listen to it in order to find them. lol

Tried to find and post an amazing live-shot of Kurt spinning on his head while performing guitar.

Saw it once being showed on a documentary about grunge, by a collector who had been following the scene from the start.

Most welcome. But, ya know, you may not really want to, and probably wouldn't thank me after doing so. lol I find it mildly interesting to see what he had access to in his bedroom in the late 80s and how he squished it all together with just some turntables and tape decks. Other people have released similar ideas under the guise of being "experimental". It sounds like Kurt was just screwing around having a good time. It's not easy listening, though.

I will thank you Cerebus. I thought it was pretty cool but I am a big Nirvana fan.
