Apparently Kurt Cobain and Krist Novoselic did this at Krist's mama's house when Nirvana was just getting started (1987) and apparently Kurt is singing on helium or found a way to sing that way, I don't know.

Have you ever listened to the Montage Of Heck? It's from his early home demos. Completely random and bizarre tape collage stuff. Definitely to be filed in the "wtf?!" column. I'm surprised it's still up on YouTube as it's FILLED with unlicensed samples (including the Beatles and Led Zepplin). But I guess somebody would have to listen to it in order to find them.

Most welcome. But, ya know, you may not really want to, and probably wouldn't thank me after doing so. I find it mildly interesting to see what he had access to in his bedroom in the late 80s and how he squished it all together with just some turntables and tape decks. Other people have released similar ideas under the guise of being "experimental". It sounds like Kurt was just screwing around having a good time. It's not easy listening, though.
