Stevie Wonder Concert Review!

I had a blast tonight, and this was literally the best concert I have ever seen. True talent, no auto tune, no effects no unnecessary crap you hear from your little Trey Songs, Biebers, Keshas & Katy Perry’s. This was MUSIC and it was beautiful.

Stevie came out, and the people gave him a huge round of applause. I could tell people really respected the man as I did=], Stevie talked and of course told joke’s, then Ahmad came out. He hasn’t been around for years; his most famous song is Back In the Day from 1994. He talk’s about how he lost his way after the single, and how he graduated Long Beach & then went to Strartford..

After that, was Grayson Chance, the kid who did the awesome cover of Paparazzi on YouTube. And then got HUGE recognition. He came out & did Silent Night as well as Paparazzi. I give this kid HUGE props he is like 13 and has a voice that is on fire!, the boy can sure sing, and play piano very well!. This kid is younger then that Bieber kid and has WAY WAY WAY more talent. I think he will be huge!

There was also Tommy Davidson!, he did some comedy and even sang a bit to!, he also poked some fun jabs at Eric Benet who showed up there to sing. I have never been a fan of this guy, he can sing I will give him that. But he is more famous for being stupid & cheating on Halle Berry. He was singing all about love, and staying together… some guy yelled out practice what you preach lol

There was also another little kid.. forget his name sadly=[ but Stevie brought him out, and he sang a Christmas song he was also very good!

The always-interesting Janelle Monae came next, She did her song Tightrope. I have to brag on her… I only had a few of her songs… I am actually downloading her album as we speak=0, this girl was so badass! She was an incredible and beautiful singer. She did some weird Bjork/Grace Jones type stuff on stage that I loved!

She did the moonwalk and even had someone bring out a coat, so she could finish the way James Brown always infamously did. She then did a beautiful cover of Smile.

After this Stevie came out and the crowd went insane!, they did a little song together you may have heard of called My Cherie Amor! Beautiful

Babyface always did a very smooth performance! I haven’t heard from him in awhile he’s still got it!

Stevie came out around 10:30

And he jumped into Boogie On Reggae Woman!

The rest of his list was

Master Blaster

I Love You

Higher Ground

Living For The City

Don’t You Worry Bout A Thing

Visions

Sir Duke

Superstition

Overall it was the greatest concert experience I have seen so far in my young life, I can tell everyone including the audience had such respect & love for Wonder it made me happy. And the man is just amazing the show was fantastic, everyone was fantastic!

This is kind of fast because I am a little excited and it’s late lol

But definitely the best concert I have ever seen so far. Loved it!

Do you have Stevie Wonder's dvd, "Live At Last"? If not , pick it up. A very good live documentation of modern day Stevie. A must have.

It's kind of funny that there haven't been any archival live releases of Stevie from the '70s. There must be some great stuff sitting in the vaults.

Also they wanted Stevie to cut it off the Union then said he had 15 extra minutes. And Stevie was like thank the Unions! lol
